5 Tips how teach your kids to eat healthy food

Parents can bring their children to eat better and make it fun! Here are some tips on how to increase your child interested in healthy eating.

1st Take your kids shopping
While in the production section, let your child pick out a new fruit or vegetable to try. Children are more interested in trying out new foods when they pick them up.

2nd Prepare meals together
let your child a part of the preparation.

3rd Incorporate “fun foods”
Children are attracted to food have, the different shapes and bright colors. There are many fruits that fall into this category, such as kiwi or star fruit. Instead of handing your child a whole orange, they break into pieces and make a smiley face on the board.

4th Make Healthy Desserts
You can dessert and make it healthy. Rather than be acquired by business biscuits and sweets (which can provide minimal nutrients), try strawberries dipped in chocolate sauce, a fruit smoothie or a berry cobbler. Remember, everything is healthy in moderation.

5th If your child wants candy
Candy is a treat once in a while.

Be a role model for your children. If you enjoy physical activity and healthy food your children will probably do the same. Promoting physical activity and healthy choices during childhood will help to build these habits for life.
